Meeting January 19, 2009
Members Present: Tom Pfaffl, Ronnie Styles,
Robert Graham, Cindy Maddox, Mark Smith,
Frank Stroman, and James Hardin
Secretary's Report
The minutes for the last board meeting on
October 18, 2008 were read and approved.
All registered letters have been sent to
property owners with overdue association
dues. Copies of all letters are available
for the Treasure and our lawyer.
Old Business
Discussion continued regarding the need for
road signs for unlicensed and/or uninsured
vehicles. At this point, we only have the
recommendation of the insurance agent to
evaluate. It was noted that we also need
an opinion from our lawyer. There are three
insurance situations that need opinions:
1) Insurance of board members and (committee
members?) That would protect them from personal
liability for decisions made by the association.
2) The need protect the association from
actions of persons using uninsured or unlicensed
vehicles
3) Any waivers that may be needed for contractors.
All letters drafted by our lawyer to property
owners with overdue association dues were
reviewed. Approval was given to proceed with
the mailing of the letters and placing of
the liens as needed. Since that meeting,,
because of extenuating circumstances, the
two properties owned by the Watson's have
been placed on payment plans to repay back
dues.

The next meeting will be on April 25, 2009,
At 10:00 am at Tom Pfaffl's house.
