BellSouth Telephone Service
Telephone service is to be provided by BellSouth,
Telephone (828-780-2355)or (1-800-767-2355).
NOTE: There is no charge for running a phone
line to individual lots, however, a deposit
may be required for new service. Ask your
builder to register your new address prior
to completion, in order to get 911 Service.
Once this is done, contact the phone company
and allow about 10 business days for service
and you should request the line to be installed
underground

NOTE: You can request to fax (828-248-2319)
a letter of
Credit from your local electricity provider
to reduce the cost of installation.
Call two months before your home is scheduled
to be completed to insure the area is surveyed,
poles set, and lines run to your property.

Water
If you are not part of a Joint Well Agreement,
you will be
required to have a on-site well and the cost
of that well will be
the lot owners responsibility. Local installers

NOTE: You may be asked by your bank to provide
a water treatment letter before closing.

They will provide you a water sample treatment
kit for $30. Ask about collecting a well
water sample and proper procedures before
getting started.
The test takes 3 to 5 days to process and
results can be faxed to you or your banker.
NOTE: Per Dee Preston, the water pipes on
Doubleview are 1 1/4 inch in diameter and
24 inches deep. The well and pumps were installed
by Delbert Pittman 1-828-453-0662.
